GALLETAS GARGALLO S.A. has been fulfilling the demands of the FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification) since 2015 to offer only products of the highest level of quality to our customers and partners.
Based on the international ISO 22000 norm, the FSSC has been extended by further requirements and criteria and also recognized in this form by the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative). Thus, the FSSC is comparable to other food safety standards, such as the IFS and the BRC.
The respective approach of the FSSC Standard or the ISO 22000 is different, however. While both the IFS and the BRC are product certifications issued by the retail sector, the FSSC 22000 is a complete Management System Certification. By means of this more comprehensive system approach, we can react to the demands of international food production even better and achieve more lasting improvements by its consistent use.
